1. Core functions
Precision support: As a lining for the work roll/intermediate roll, it ensures that the radial runout of the roll system is ≤ 0.003mm (affecting the thickness tolerance of the aluminum foil ± 0.001mm)
Anti adhesive aluminum: prevents aluminum from adhering (surface roughness needs to be controlled with Ra ≤ 0.05 μ m)
Dynamic balance: Maintain vibration velocity ≤ 1.2mm/s at rolling speed of 15-30m/s (ISO 10816-3 standard)

2. Material reinforcement plan
Surface hardening:
Low temperature ion nitriding (420 ℃ × 24h, surface hardness HV800-1000)
Electrolytic polishing (removing the chromium deficient areas at the surface grain boundaries, increasing corrosion resistance by three times)
Anti adhesive aluminum treatment:
Laser texturing (micro pit diameter 20-50 μ m, depth 5-10 μ m)
PTFE impregnation (friction coefficient reduced to 0.05-0.08)
The main failure modes of the sleeve on the double roll aluminum foil rolling mill are aluminum adhesion wear (70%) and fatigue deformation (25%). After adopting DLC coating, the replacement cycle can be extended to 7-8 years. The latest technology generates an Al ₂ O Ⅲ ceramic layer through plasma electrolytic oxidation (PEO), further reducing the adhesion rate of aluminum materials.
